We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning and start-up phases of our projects, ensuring that all mechanical systems, equipment, and processes are tested, validated, and fully operational.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong leadership experience who can drive the successful delivery of complex mechanical engineering projects in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all commissioning activities for projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Develop pre-commissioning test procedures and documentation, and correct any deficiencies found.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in line with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of commissioning activities, including the testing, debugging, and handover of systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of commissioning processes into the overall project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on commissioning progress, identifying potential issues and proactively implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and client specifications throughout the commissioning process.



Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a Commissioning Manager on pharmaceutical, biopharma, semi-conductor, or data centre projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge in commissioning processes, testing, and systems start-up.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and system specifications
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in commissioning software, project management tools, and MS Office Suite.
