Continuous Improvement Lead

  • Lead facility-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives by coaching teams on Lean tools, driving projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Develop an annual Operational Excellence plan with a focus on LAMPS (Lean Tools), aimed at labor redeployment efficiencies, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and optimizing shop floor space.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, generate ideas, and conduct value analysis to develop and prioritize a Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) pipeline.
  • Quickly respond to financial variances by adjusting improvement plans, creating additional cost-saving opportunities, and supporting the branch's financial goals.
  • Promote a culture of Operational Excellence and functional efficiency, supporting 5S and Lean initiatives, and exemplifying the company's core beliefs and values.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external business processes and certifications, aligning with the standards of a major U.S. corporation in the automotive sector.
  • Act as a backup for designated roles as required, providing coverage for primary, secondary, or tertiary responsibilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Lean Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operational roles within supply chain management, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry.
  • Proven expertise in applying Lean principles within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices.
