Electrical Contracts Manager

Mane are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join their client, a leading MEP contractor at their offices in Bishop's Stortford.
Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operation of the managed branch, prioritizing Health and Safety for both staff and site
• Oversee projects within the designated region
• Ensure all work is completed within budgetary constraints
• Manage cash flow and billing accuracy within the branch
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction
• Increase sales and enhance estimating opportunities
• Guarantee that all work meets required standards

Duties:

• Ensure adherence to project scopes
• Maintain regular communication with site project managers
• Confirm that equipment is properly maintained and serviced
• Conduct site inspections using the standard Site Inspection Form (F088)
• Oversee on-site safety and housekeeping practices
• Manage on-site personnel, including apprentices and subcontractors
• Confirm that all team members are qualified to perform their duties
• Identify and arrange any necessary on-site training
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term partnership
• Ensure branch operations meet CMS requirements
• Seek opportunities to enhance the quality of service through system improvements
• Take accountability for personal health, safety, and environmental impact

Qualifications

• City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
• Significant experience in a supervisory role
