Electrical Engineer


Position Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, safety standards, and EMC, with hands-on experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design of electrical control panels and cable looms, from initial concept to final production.

  • Collaborate closely with the electrical engineering team to ensure precise and detailed design work.

  • Work alongside Systems, Mechanical, and Electronic Engineers to create integrated design solutions.

  • Support the manufacturing process and assist during production and assembly stages.

  • Provide technical support to Service, Installation, and Commissioning teams when needed.

  • Oversee subcontractors to ensure parts are produced to specification, within tolerances, and on time.

  • Compile and submit comprehensive engineering documentation for project releases.

  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate technical documents.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults across equipment and systems.

  • Communicate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding project status, concerns, and opportunities.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Strong experience with Autodesk Electrical or similar CAD software in an industrial machinery context.

  • Familiarity with safety standards such as IEC 60101-1 and the application of these standards in design.

  • Knowledge of EMC design principles is a plus.

  • Experience with CE and UL marking is desirable.

  • Relevant degree (or HND) in Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in electrical design within an industrial machinery setting.
