Key Responsibilities:
Prepare reports and front-end studies, including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-offs, and tender schedules.
Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analyse returned tenders.
Maintain and update the delivery schedule to control deliveries.
Monitor progress against the programme and issue progress reports.
Produce look-ahead programmes to assist production.
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities.
Carry out quality control through inspections and snagging.
Manage document control, recording, and transmitting information.
Liaise and coordinate with clients, design teams, and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
Supervise construction activities, organising workers, plant, machinery, and materials.
Coordinate with other crafts working on-site to ensure smooth transitions and identify required materials and equipment.
Conduct quality control inspections on and off project sites.
Ensure contractor activities are properly coordinated.
Ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
Analyse and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise, ensuring all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
Ensure handover documentation is presented in a specific format and within required timelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate site reports.
Qualification
7+ years of experience in a supervisory or engineering role.
Ability to manage subcontractors.
Technical understanding of PMS/BMS/Busbar systems.
Proactive people management skills.
