We're recruiting for a key role supporting high-profile projects within the defence and maritime sector. Are you a skilled Slinger with experience in marine or shipyard environments and valid SC Clearance?
What we're looking for:
- SVQ Level 2 / NVQ Level 2
- Valid Slinger/Banksman certification (NPORS or CPCS)
- Strong marine/shipbuilding or heavy industry background
- Experience in lifting operations and understanding of lift plans
- Ability to work closely with Crane Operators and Lift Supervisors
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Slinging and coordinating loads during complex lifts
- Assisting with the movement of large marine components
- Working within a live shipyard or dock environment
- Following all safety procedures and contributing to a safe workspace
What we offer:
- £32ph - Monday - Thursday + Friday is overtime
- £37 on nights - Monday - Thursday + Friday is overtime
