Role overview:
Required to carry out a range of wiring and assembly duties.
Please note that this role will be subject to Security Clearance. As such, factors including your nationality, previous nationalities that you may have held, and your place of birth may affect your eligibility to apply for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Control panel wiring
- Panel fitting, marking out, drilling & tapping work
- Point to point wiring, cable crimping, loom & harness wiring
- Wire equipment following engineering drawings & instructions
- Ability to use various crimping tools
- Must be competent in soldering on connectors such as D-Type, Amphenol & other types of connectors
- Ability to solder to IPC/WHMA-A-620
- Install electronic/electro-mechanical components and looms to quality standards.
- Report design/material issues
- Inspect, test and troubleshoot completed wiring and sub-assemblies.
- Use test equipment, interpret schematics, and follow company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience with various connectors, cables, and components (industrial/military).
- Skilled in wiring, assembly, soldering and using hand tools.
- Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of wiring standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620) and electrical safety.
38 - 40 hours per week
