Mane and Morgan Sindall announce extension of growing partnership

The partnership between Mane and Morgan Sindall’s Rail & Electrification team will continue after both parties agreed to a two-year extension. In early 2017, Morgan Sindall’s Rail and Electrification team embarked on a trial run of Socium, Mane’s bespoke cloud platform for contingent staff which eventually led to the team taking up the Managed Service Provider (MSP) platform on a full-time basis. As part of the agreement, Mane was also chosen as the master vendor for the team’s requirements managing the full scope of the contingent staff recruitment process.

Both parties have been working closely, which gives Mane a hands-on approach and a full understanding of the Rail & Electrification team’s needs. The partnership has achieved two key objectives that were originally set out by Morgan Sindall, a reduction in safety occurrences and increased cost & operational control.

Working together has provided a number of overall improvements to the platform including the introduction of a built-in safety reporting tool allowing staff to report on incidents they witness - no matter how big or small. As we move forward and develop the partnership, Socium will see new capabilities and features that offer the very best in contingent workforce management. The ever-changing landscape of contingent staffing means there is always room for improvement on the platform.
