This issue has a look into the hot topics of the moment with the importance of the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show starting next week. We take a look into the last year in Automotive, the new Chinese-Automotive brand Lynk & Co and car connectivity. Not only that - we also look into the decline of diesel whilst focusing on the rise of hybrid and electric vehicles.

Motorsport Update

We take a look into how the current Formula E season is going, having been four races in. Not only this, we take a look at the upcoming Formula 1 season, discussing the hot topics from Saubers rebrand to Alfa Romeo and the addition of Cherles Leclerc to Ferrari, after his only first season in the Formula 1.

With the rise of connected devices, the technology to create and support a connected car ecosystem becomes more advanced, with it forecasted that more than 380 million connected cars will be on the road by 2021. With this in mind, we take a look at four of the best-connected car features on the market as of March 2019.

F1 Facts

We take a look at some of the facts about Formula 1. This includes the reason for pit stops, the rules of the pit lane, who completed the fastest pit stop but not only this, we also look into why the tyres are different colours, how you get your starting position and how a race starts. Lastly, we also talk about three new rules for the upcoming season.

Our very own Recruitment Consultant for our Automotive, F1 & Motorsport division shares how her first year has been at Mane. Since Jade has joined Mane she has extremely enjoyed getting to grips with working within such a demanding industry.
