Construction is ongoing at 60 – 70 St. Mary Axe, better known as the ‘Can of Ham’ for its familiar tin-shaped design. After having been in planning and development for nearly 10 years, the aptly named office tower will rise to 90m when it is topped off sometime in 2018. The project was delayed due to the global financial crisis shortly after being approved. The tower will join other food related buildings in the area including the Gherkin and the Cheesegrater.
Mane is proud to be involved in the construction of this unique structure. Mane has sent its first set of personnel to the Can of Ham building site with several more on the way as construction progresses. We remain present on numerous construction and infrastructure projects across the London area providing skilled steel erectors, electricians, welders, site managers, project managers and more.
