Rail Safety Week 2018

As a supplier of contingent workforce solutions to the rail industry, it can sometimes be overlooked what labour suppliers can do in order to enhance the safety and wellbeing of workforces whilst they are on site.

At Mane, we work in collaboration with all of our clients. This collaborative approach to contingent workforce management has spawned key safety driven developments such as our instantaneous close call/near miss reporting tool via our sister MSP technology platform -  Socium. It provides initiatives in fatigue management, pre-start E-Learning module and education for maximum site awareness prior to commencement or simply monthly awards dedicated to those people championing safety in all its guises. Mane strives at all times to put the safety and well-being of our workforce to the forefront and welcome the attention rail safety week brings to the industry.

Rail Safety Week does not only the headline “hot topics” of the moment but also the lesser spoken about issues surrounding the rail industry today such as workplace stress and mental health and its effect on individuals.  

Rail Safety Week runs through 2^nd to 8^th July 2018 and helps deliver rail safety messages across a wide network on multiple platforms.  With this being the ethos behind the week-long campaign, Mane is more than happy to put their name behind such a worthwhile and worthy cause.
